DEPOSIT
INFORMATION
If a project has had the contractor broken ground
or is with in two months of doing so, on the project in question.
It is better to give E.D. a 50% deposit so the design time does
not conflict with the production schedule. The way we work is, a
production slot is not given until the final designs have been completed
and the 2nd payment of 25% has been received. If a client is not
in a rush for the production of their project, it is fine to give
E.D. a 25% deposit and wait for the design process to be completed.
It has been a normal procedure to give a 50% deposit because it
does speed up the production time and let’s us design with
no time requirement to worry about.
